“ Stopped in on our way, this cafe is “mom & pop” vibes all the way! People were friendly, the “dirty coffee” was a home blend akin to a spiced latte with way less sugar. Cinnamon, cardamon, ginger - it was wonderful! Highly recommend stopping in or staying awhile. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, there’s variety (vegan options), and it is very affordable. ”
“ What a gem. K2 refers to the second highest mountain in the world, in Pakistan. There's some influence from that region of the world but mostly the food is just tasty, fresh, and healthy. Perfect stop on a bike ride or after an adventure in or around Poolesville. We had the avocado toast, tandoori chicken bowl, and the K2 bowl. All three were amazing. Can't wait to come back and catch up with the owner some more. ”

I highly recommend this location if you are looking for a quick lunch with a friendly environment. We ordered the spicy select wig bacon, chipotle chicken wrap and the k2 dog. “ There are at least three great food establishments in Poolesville. One is Locals which is a restaurant. The other is K2 Cafe. Both are excellent. I often stop at K2 Cafe to get a sandwich - in my case - usually a bagel with cream cheese and salmon - perfect for my lunch and made with care by Nicole. Walking in to the store Ashar always greets me with a friendly smile and a 'how are you'? This makes me feel welcome. My son has ordered the Chicken Tikka and loved it too. We will be back often. ”
